Saber got her hands on it and became enamored with the idea of eating some of the dishes theirin. Shirou told her there was no way he could possibly afford such a thing short of rin, for no reason, handing him a gem and saying use this to buy food. Then saber gives him the puppy dog eyes so he promised to work extra hard and take her out on a date, just the two of them, to get a gourmet quality meal at some point in the future.
Slightly off-topic but I feel like I'm one of the few people who finds EMIYA and his color scheme to be unattractive at best.
