I'll cop to that. In my defense, it's hard to tell where words end and begin when the letters are squashed together like that.

I only mentioned that as an aside. It wouldn't have mattered whether I correctly guessed it was TM-related or not, since either way I wouldn't find anything as long as I kept misreading it as "Thames Trollson" instead of "Thames Troll Son" like I presume McJon intended. (Which, when I google it, does get me Alice's familiar).

In any case, this is a silly thing to be arguing over so we might as well cut things off here.

Not quite sure what you mean, but I've already explained what my mistaken line of thinking was. There's really nothing more to say.

I think Medea being lumped all on her own in "Caucasus" away from literally every other Greek Heroic Spirit that doesn't belong in the "Aegean Sea" either has to be the most ridiculous of the lot.

Thank you. And for any clarification, I meant any heroes from Saxony or Meissen.

Are most Saxon-like Servant would probably be Beowulf as his story was part of their traditions but even then I don't think totally. Geatland wasnt part of Angela, it was north of them.

Technically Beowulf would count as Swedish by modern definitions because Geatland is part of Sweden and has been for at least 800 years.

While she certainly doesn't look Indian, I'll let it pass. Tamamo is quite international.

I finally looked at the Reddit post that started this, and what the fuck is with these geographical divisions. A couple make sense, but most are nonsensically specific and arbitrary.

There will always be people dissatisfied about these lists and charts because somehow they will be "wrong". That just makes me wonder why even bother making them?

It was too difficult to have a proper legend and key. Gotta clutter everything up!

Translation: Legends and myths are not inherently bound to any one location, wanting to categorise them and put them in a box is bad civilisation, also look at what a snarky fucker I am
I bet you liked Log Horizon you hypocrite.
