I had zero expectations after the disaster that was Future Arc, but the Demo gave me hope, so now I have no choice but to be disappointed.

I read and saw spoilers so I know exactly what to expect but I'm hoping that actually playing it will change my thoughts.

I agree, the fact that she's a self-enmity activator gels well with Tiamat gun grids, and the shield is helpful for sustaining low HP longer without having to heal and sacrifice damage. Overall a much better team player than TM Scathach, who's only useful for her third skill and stun.

The final part of Mementos being called Prison of Regression and when it got merged with the real world, making dinosaur bones appear all over the place, I can't help but remembering Beast of "Regression" Tiamat's AoG Regression to Jurassic Era stuffs in Babylonia

Well, the deepest parts of Mementos is filled with all manner of bones. The steel train tracks from the upper levels become bone tracks lower down.
