It has a very cool premise for a MMO -- urban fantasy + actual puzzle solving -- but the game itself didn't hold my interest after a few months.

because despite all the nice stuff about it, you still have that grind curve like any other WoW-style MMORPG and the combat was a snorefest to me.

I still think of The Secret World fondly for what it tried to do, I'm definitely down for another game like that but with better execution.

Main problem with TSW was that if you try to solve the puzzles using a search engine like they want you to, the first result for the obscure piece of music or whatever that you need will just lead you to a walkthrough that tells you the answer anyway. SEO was a mistake

I picked up Tyranny a couple days ago, pretty much been playing it non-stop. It's been a while since I played one of these isometric RPGs, and it's a lot of fun. There are some glaring bugs but none are completely gamebreaking; Story is pretty decent if not altogether a bit convenient; Skill system and Talent systems take a while to get used to, but the rate at which you can customize your own spells as long as you have a decent Lore stat along with exploiting the battle system and the different variations the story can go based on your Conquest choices keep replayability on the high end.

Haven't finished it yet, but it's making me want to grab Pillars of Eternity since I missed out on that before. :|

Yeah, either I wasn't aware or forgot that Steam had anime. Tempted to pick up Re: Zero since it's only 6 USD or so. Picked up GitS SAC seasons 1 and 2 for about 20 USD total.
