Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
So, the Bayo and Corrin DLC are out. Corrin Plays like a closer range Robin, which I really enjoy. Just has a bunch of fun moves that I've been missing, and a rather straightforward final smash. All his smashes have a nice range to them, and that fireball with a physical followup is killer.
Bayo is much trickier to use. She moves very floaty, not as bad as zero suit samus but still noticeable. Witch time is useful, particularly when all my random opponents always seemed to include a Ganon who love the heel smash attack. The Specials don't really do much for me, they all seem a bit bland. I got way more use out of the normal default combo. The final Smash also has a witch-time portion where you have to do a certain amount of damage to a target before the smash actually activates, which is a bitch when the person has large damge and goes flying all over at a small touch. I got way more use out of it by just Smashing slowed down people than trying for the demon finisher.

Corrin is great, neutral b is fun, neutral air is an awesome protection and attack in one, that side b opens up many possibilities, the counter is all around good and the forward smash can be pretty useful when angled downwards, Corrin's weak point seems to be the recovery though, a lot of the time it seemed to fall short of what I'd want.
I'm absolutely terrible at using Bayonetta, but damn her neutral b can be annoying (though it's fairly useless against small characters), her smashes are slow but cover a pretty good area each and make for awesome punishers (I think?), and Witch Time is kinda nice but has easily exploitable flaws such as multi-hit or high priority moves, I can tell that good Bayos will be a real hassle to play against...
Corrin apparently has a reliable kill option in the form of a reversed Ken Combo with f-air to up-air
