My first impressions on the game provided by Evo:

- Control feels good and responsive. It's a good idea that gamepads can be used, although the keyboard isn't a bad option either.
- RPG elements seem fine; you need a few replays in order to be really strong for later tries, though.
- The attacks by the first boss on Stage 4 don't harm you, and neither does physical contact. Also, when you kill it the game cuts off due to a memory leak or something.
- Good music.
- Doesn't occupy a lot of space on the PC, also a good thing.

All in all, there's a bit more room for improvement, but it's not a bad game by any means. Looks like we can manage to flesh out the story here. I'm gonna join this project!

If I can get it to run (for some reason, it doesn't want to...) I told Evo I'd be more than happy to come up with a story.

Can anyone else on a 64-bit version of Windows Vista/7 confirm if they can get the game running? I have a strong suspicion it may not be playing nicely with 64-bit OSes...

- The game does run, but when I defeat the first miniboss on stage 4 the game gets cut short due to a memory leak or something. I should take a screencap so you can see for yourself.
- Same one I got for my laptop, although I run it in a window.
- I think I'm running it on 32-bit on Vista
- CPU, Video and Sound Cards are running fine from my end.

For those of you having problems, we may need to check for a specific soundcard. I could only get the game to work if I ran it through my onboard sound, because the engine would refuse to detect my Asus Xonar D1.

If anyone else here has that card (or possibly its PCI Express equivalent, the DX) that'd help us narrow things down a bit.

Also, I'd like to take the time to apologize for not contributing more than I did, real life issues and my studies have been getting the better of me.

Those tracks I contributed were so early in my studies, so when I hear them now it's kind of embarassing ;_;
I'm wanting to rework them at some point before the full-on release = ='

The problem may be down to Asus-brand APUs, as I upgraded my system and the onboard sound for it works on that one as well, but not the APU, which is an Asus Xonar D1.

If anyone's got an Asus-based soundcard (Most of them are under the Xonar line, but a few aren't) please report if the game works for you through them. Again, the game definitely works if one starts it via onboard, then switches to the Xonar, so it's something to do with the Xonar not sending its capabilities properly, or the engine not liking that line of cards.

Seems interesting. Unfortunately I've only played a bare handful of scrolling shooters so I'm not exactly good at it and keep dying. On another note, on my computer Z is what I use to proceed or shoot and I can't use the mouse to do anything. X takes the place of B. Not a real problem, just letting you know. Computer's a Toshiba Satellite with Vista.

Have you done any other games?
