Personally, I find The Venerable Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field to be one of my favorites. My other favorite would be Flight of the Bamboo Cutter ~ Lunatic Princess.

Probably my favourite BGM in the games. Obviously the music-themed boss(es) has the best music.
Also this one. Fan remixers always slow it down like complete dumbasses. It's good because it's fast!
Because sometimes I just want to listen to something catchy and uplifting that doesn't need to be epic to 11.

Anyone else also playing the Gensokyo-Playboy-Chronicles (also known as Shoot the Bullet & Double Spoiler)? Then tell me why Eirins first spellcard is so full of hate. I'm just taking some pictures, jeez.
I've mentioned Flight of the Bamboo Cutter ~ Lunatic Princess before, and here it is in orchestral format. This and on piano are my two favorite versions of it. And I just noticed, out of the three tracks I've posted, two are for final/bonus bosses. Border of Life and Death is also a final boss track as well. ZUN really knows how to make that final boss feel epic, by music if not difficulty.

My secret shame is that I actually think Icicle Fall (Normal) is pretty difficult and I usually bomb/lose a life to it. Cirno really is strong.
In terms of music, I like Remilia's theme, the Prismriver's theme and Mokou's theme. Kaguya's theme is forever ruined to me thanks to Eirin Eirin tasukete Eirin.
Icicle Fall (Normal) can be problematic, but once you get a hand of it, it's quite easy. You just have to plan in which moment you should go inbetween the icicles and fly out of the barrage.

Also, I just adore Remilia's there, especially the very beginning. The sisters' theme is one of my favorite and Mokou's theme was my first love.
I completely agree. I think that was actually the first bm that literally distracted me from the boss battle because I was like, 'wow, this music is awesome'
By the way, touhou sky arena came out not long ago. Its a touhou dojin game where you basically 3D dogfight. I wont post any download links for it, but there should be one in the reitaisai thread on touhou wakachan.
