Note that I don't wish to be seen as an idiot any longer. I can't always promise better works than before, but I can sure as hell try, alright?
Get a real editor. If your thing is about 100 pages, a freelance editor will probably cost you something like 4-500$, which is not honestly an immense amount of money to ask for that kind of thing, and will make your writing a lot better, especially if you want to use it in a portfolio or the like.
Basically if you're writing something for profit over like 5000 words get an editor.
$400-500 is a hell of a lot of money for someone who doesn't have much money. Sure, a proper publication should be properly edited, but for a first attempt getting a free beta-reader is surely better.

I'll admit that I suck as a beta, except when it's for porn, but even then I'm picky. I have a habit to be very harsh when critiquing as well. (It's a habit I picked up from a writing coach. She tore the hell out of my writing and it helped out a lot.)

I get people asking me to beta all the time. Hell, one person even out right demanded that I beta his lemon fic for him. The guy didn't ask, he said I needed to beta it for him. So, that's turned me off too.

May I humbly ask someone to beta/review/critiquemy Fate/EXTRA fanfic (which has gotten buried under the wave of faster-updating fics)?
This thing doesn't have a beta yet, and my history of betas for my past fanfics do nothing more than just a quick proofread, so anything would be greatly appreciated!
The next chapter's almost done as well, so if anyone's interested in this thing as a whole send me a PM and I'll hand that over too.
Be warned: I have very little control over the length of stuff I write. My lack of a sensei means I've never managed to correct this.

Hmm, I could use a beta for my fics/drabbles. Currently writing my Shirou and Mana wandering heroes idea, but I plan to branch out soon.
I consider myself pretty good when it comes to grammar, syntax, and most other english language attributes, but my writing clarity isn't always as great, and my knowledge of Nasuverse mechanics is subpar. Help with these would be welcome.
