Hmmm, well if coordinating attacks is allowed, you could have Merry hit it first, (And since all of it's attention is focused on you it would be a sneak attack so it gets a modifier) then, when it turns it's attention back to Merry, you do the same thing and also get the damage modifier. (And thanks to enrage, it's defense goes down to zero, so even more damage. Yay!)

Of course, this probably doesn't work with the battle system somehow, but I'm half-asleep, so eh.

All else fails, just whack it to death with the bat.
