Chapter 328 basically reads as Sinbad saying that he made himself ruler but it was okay to deny them the right to choose their own hope by placing it in him. They even consider their own previous hopes to be nothing but trifling things. At that point, he's lost his mind if he thinks that Aladdin fixing it is somehow more arrogant than him.
