BD Release info -
Additional image by the anime staff -Prisma Phantasm BD has been announced for a 11/27 release. A few days after the manga's 11th volume.
Pre-orders will include a special card illustrated by Hiroyama. Apparently holographic. Thought this was another of those layered clear files like they did with Herz's BD release, but the site description mentions the image changing depending on the angle. This could be a translation issue though as this was run through a translator.

Did it really take you this long to notice the angle they use to advertise the anime? Didn't previous OVAs and merch for the movie that had Illya and Kuro naked tell you enough?. Seriously, took you long enough to notice.
And sticking to the manga is a good idea because, besides the fanservice, SL sadly couldn't keep up with the amazing art and how the manga was done. The movie was decent enough, but 3rei had some really bad moments where the manga is just so much better (the most egregious being episode 11. Everything on that episode was just so much better in the manga)

I've always followed the manga cause I don't like the shiny colour palette of the anime. And I've always known the series is like this just from the existence of Kuro. That said I enjoy the magical girl aspect and the story has been low on fanservice (or general content really) for a while so I never noticed the posters.
The condescending tone I once got when I stated that I followed the prisma manga and my hatred of fate tumblr's echo chamber probably didn't help

. Well now you know. It's through fanservice OVAs and merch that the anime can keep going, even with apparently average disc sales. The only reason there's no more anime now is that they need more manga content to reach a decent end point.
