    Watched the Saber Alter eps for the lulz. Things I want to say:

    - The OST is godlike, will get. Based Kato-san.
    - This show is the Fate/stay night anime w/ Magical Girls and the most annoying Illya I ever witnessed oh god my ears in that despair scene srsly, just shut up Illya.
    - This suddenly became a DEEN anime, blowing entire budget on the fighting scene with beams and weird fast animations and whatnot.
    - Does this show even are about canon?
    - Sapphire's still the best character in this show.

    Best fight in Fate franchise? Not really. It's flashy but terrible animation choreography.

    Only thing that good is the first Excaliblast and the result. As mentioned, it properly shows its power.

    so... i see some opinions on the new Emiya remix but none so far on the new Sword of promised victory fragment remix...

    both the one that plays while Rin and Luvia blast the shit out of saber, and the one that plays when Saber gets back at them with the excaliblast...

    Let's see in quick sequence, Dark Caster/Caster Alter looks pretty good (also has to be the character with the second most alternative versions now...), Rin and Luvia showing how experience matters was great, Saber Alter was menacingly great and Archerko was fantastic. Perfect endcard sealed the deal.

    This is probably the closest we get to the HF Saber Alter fight(with less brain damage) for now, but it did make me wonder, in a non-Fate/stay night spin-off sense and as a general Fate universe kinda thing, wouldn't it be bad if Illya installed some other Archer that can't trace weapons and shoot Excalibur beams? Robin Hood Illya?

    There will be no episode 07v0 release this week because:

    • Our usual stream ripper is away on holiday.
    • The ohys raw on Nyaa has broken audio, not to mention it’s poorly re-encoded (i.e. shit made even shittier).
    • The team will be enjoying the Oreimo finale together today.
