In the spirit of the OP, some KOF XIII combo vids:
...So it looks like the strings that we've seen so far in the KOF XIV trailers are actually rather similar to those that can be done in KOF XIII. Which gives me hope for the gameplay. Hopefully SNK Playmore can polish up the models/go for a different aesthetic style before the game releases so that it doesn't look a generation behind, as well as smooth out the animations, and maybe KOF XIV will actually be a great game.

KOF's too hard for me to play lel.
Something
New KOF XIV trailer, confirms Andy for game (confirmations have been surprising in their order, considering Terry, Mai, Kim, etc. have yet to be confirmed even with their popularity): http://shoryuken.com/2015/11/24/snk-...s-xiv-trailer/
Not going to lie, it does look better than the previous trailers with the weird lighting removed and seemingly faster gameplay (could be misremembering the other trailers though). While the character models are still not that great and the stages feel much more lifeless than normal, I'm willing to pass over those bits considering this is SNK Playmore's first KOF game since getting bought out/splurging on KOF XII/XIII sprites. Just want gameplay to make up for it.
PSX update:
Kula, King, de-roided Ralf, and Angel confirmed for KOF XIV. MAX mode's back. P4A-like auto-combos added. Blowback attack added (HP+HK), wallbounces on counterhit. Just Defends (parries) added. Looks like a fusion between usual KOF and modern airdashers now, which I'm fine with. Graphics still leave a lot to ask for, but I'm perfectly willing to settle with good gameplay.
In other news, Garou: Mark of the Wolves got added to the Steam database. Considering how Garou ties in as part of an alternate continuity to KOF, I think it counts as on-topic stuff. But yeah, Steam release probably coming. If/When it comes out, giving all my recommendations to it. Fantastic fighting game, easily one of the best, if not the best fighting game SNK has ever made from a competitive standpoint. Good spritework, music, characters too.

Looks like KOF XIV plays like a mix between the good parts of '98, 2002, and XIII with a few added bits. I really can't wait for it now.
Still looks like shit, but hey apparently it plays fine so thats good
