Damn, this one really pulled at my heartstrings. It's fluffy, yet so saddening. It's like giving you a wonderful present, only to tell you that it was bought with money gotten from mugging and stabbing someone who just wanted to get from work to his family.

That aside.... yeah, this one hurts. It's an extra punch somehow since it's from Ayaka's perspective, instead of your usual Manaka focus.

Just gotta make one contingent on the other.

Because I find myself in that bizarre limbo where I have ideas for things in my little AU setting, but they're mostly irrelevant world-building elements that don't matter to any of the stories I have going in it. So I'm just occasionally going to throw some things up on here when the inspiration hits, flesh out the world a little, and hope my muse decides to stop being a teasing bitch.

Inevitably going to bore those readers who have no interest in such things, of course.
