You're very good at this, but now I want to see the Heroic Spirit that this Shirou would have become (also the write-up). I suspect that he would do the Fifth Holy Grail War a lot differently than canon EMIYA did.

I teared up just a little, which is weird because I never cry over anything. This was a beautiful piece of literature Arashi.
All Nasuverse women hold my heart, I do however go through phases.
Entering the Jeanne phase
Pretty well executed. I enjoyed it.
Pretty good. Bittersweet and moving.

You're not supposed to figure it out. They're not named because I never came up with one. Rin, Sakura, villager, Sella, magi victim, Waver, hostage family, Taiga, Rin's students, Caren, daughter of a rescued person, Rin and Sakura again.
Localizationing stuff
This is one of the hot candidates for contest winner, and rightfully so. Very good without being too depressing or cheesy.

Democracy on Beast's Lair
It can't be too cheesy when you assume LE

Well, there is just one place an accomplished "hero" like him would go and write "I did not die". Plus, he's with neither Rin nor Sakura, so I call you all derps because I can.
It's clearly after Fate, see the Azoth sword comment.
If it's LE or not...I don't know. Isn't he trapped forever in Avalon in LE?

I still don't think they can go out of Avalon.
It's not UBW, so no, I'm definitely Ergast. In fact, let me remind you that I don't like UBW's good ending that much. Sure, it's better than Ciel's good ending by far (Saber isn't the asshole that Arc is in Ciel's good, Saber just wants to live with her friends), but I still don't like it that much.
Spoiler:
It seems to be an empty space, and they can't get out. And to make it better it's probably full of fairies (OH SHIT).
This is Anno-tier "you want a good ending? Here's your good ending:End of Evangelion" trolling from Nasu's side.
But we don't wanna repeat that tired argument in Arashis thread, no? It doesn't really have that much of a significance in that context anyway. For all we know he doesn't even have to be in Avalon at that point, just "missing in action".

A new his and her story starts from there as the text goes, so there is no reason for them not to leave at some point. Besides, King Arthur will leave that place one day, so it's not exactly closed.I still don't think they can go out of Avalon.
You're denying Rin an awesome party. Your claim that you're Ergast is therefore rejected. 'c'It's not UBW, so no, I'm definitely Ergast. Anyway, Luster's right. We have very differing views on that matter and we wouldn't want to clog up Arashi's thread with useless blabbering.

All I can say is that if this wins Grand Prize, I will not be able to say anything but 'You Deserved It'. A really lovely, touching piece.
