Hazama can only exist if a "Observer (Ilya)" acknowledges his existence in the world to keep him tied there. He gains strength from Mad Enhancement when he creates chaos and madness through events and through people. Thus creating those who will loathe him. The more hate there is towards him, the more power he gains from aforementioned skill. (His consciousness stays with him.)

Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning.

Hazama is unable to die unless the deployment of a skill or Noble Phantasm is used with a Rank of B+ or Above. Though, his true body is Phantasmal. So his death is only temporary until his body reforms in 12 hours.

Geminus Anguium: Ouroboros : A
Ouroboros is the symbol of a snake eating or biting its own tail, symbolizing infinity. It is believed that this Nox Nyctores can directly attack the mind and psyche of the victim. Geminus Anguium is a Latin phrase meaning "Twin Snakes", though 'twin' is, oddly, singular. Hazama's Main Weapon.
Azure Grimoire (Imitation): A+
While only being a Imitation, Hazama was the original creator of the one possessed by Ragna the Bloodedge, thus the imitation can be used in the exact same way. Being a imitation though, it's rank is decreased. When activated, a large magical circle envelops him, slowly sapping away vitality of anyone who steps inside.

Hazama's True Nature and Power is unleashed until Battle Ends. Mana is taken directly from Gaia.

Able to block any type of gag related event with a Table. Can be be used to block attacks as well. Phantasm does not work on Gags involving Words.

Able to consume and enjoy hateful, wretched, and overall questionable food. (Examples include Arc and Hisui's cooking)
