Thanks! Writing Type-Moon was actually... one of the more complex problems I had. I wanted him to come across as alien, but he also had to be humanlike enough to interact with other characters. So the question of how to get across 'humanoid abomination' without putting in too much 'human' or too little vexed me throughout the whole story.

Instead of deciding humanity's drive for conquest was something interesting to look into, the Crimson Moon becomes fascinated with their courtship rituals.

Zelretch becomes an H-game protagonist, as he seeks to survive/fend off the advances of his humanoid abomination love interest.

...There is a website I've used (seriously, some H-games have good stories and that's what I play for...) that uses DDL links. They've got Saya...but I haven't visited it recently to see how they've survived the MU incident. Then again, you must have come across it during your searches since it's so aptly named...erogedownload.com

Also, on topic - Moczo...like many before, EPIC! I especially stalked you on FF.net and added you for future trolling on slow days...I also second IRUN's sentiment...until otherwise, your events are canon for me <3

I'm so glad this won over all in the contest. For me it was the fic that was the most fun to read.

Epic. Truly epic. Brunestud as a human monstrosity was flawless in my opinion. He tries to understand things, but he can't. At least not most things. Also, Zelretch as a wise (and arrogant) wizard was perfect, too. Still, the best line would be "Flawless" after Rin manages to score a hit on Zelretch's head, followed by: "Bring. It. On." She is a girl with priorities that does one thing at a time. Before that, her goal was to hit Zelretch in the head. Now that it was done, she can concentrate on the spell.

Smart Sorcerers know that you should nuke super-vampires from afar with light-speed laser magic.

Smarter Sorcerers know that you should just drop super-vampires into the lifeless hell they are going to create.
