    These thoughts come into my head why can I not unthink them


    Through means and manners completely unknown, Shiki Tohno awoke one day to find himself transformed into a girl.

    "I'm not sure how it happened," she said, her voice a bit higher than usual - and with good reason. "I was normal when I went to bed last night and when I woke up I was like..." She gestured to herself, currently dressed in a boy's school uniform a size or two too large for her frame. "...this."

    Of the three natural girls present in the Tohno mansion, Ciel was the first to speak. "...what."

    "I didn't do it!" Kohaku shouted from the kitchen.

    "This doesn't make any sense."

    "If we want to talk about things that do not make sense," Akiha said, "we should start with why you and the vampire are here."

    "I always visit Shiki," Arcueid replied.

    "This isn't a good time. He's ill."

    She smiled. "All the more reason he needs me around to cheer him up."

    "...and all the more reason for me to be with him and ensure his safety," Ciel replied.

    Shiki opened her mouth to remind the others that she had already killed two Dead Apostles and the Serpent of Akasha and that she didn't need much protecting but thought better of it.

    Hisui wheeled a blackboard into the room. "For the benefit of our guests-"

    "They are not our guests," Akiha said, picking up her teacup.

    "For the benefit of our tresspassers," she corrected herself, garnering an approving nod from Akiha, "I have written down a list of the possible causes of Mistress Shiki's condition." Turning the board over, she revealed a bulleted list written in chalk.


    • Magic
    • Kohaku's shady new drug
    • Zeltrech is fooling around again
    • It's a Night of Wallachia rumor


    "Templates like that are forbidden," Ciel said sternly.

    "I didn't do it!" Kohaku again shouted from the kitchen.

    Ciel blinked. "...how does she even know her name is on the list?"

    "Regardless," Akiha said, "for the time being, Shiki, you are a young woman, and I expect you to carry yourself with a level of dignity befitting your current..." She gestured with her teacup. "...condition."

    "But I'm not a dignified young woman," Shiki replied.

    She took a sip of tea. "I daresay you're not when you come to breakfast dressed in ill-fitting men's clothing."
    If the only response you can think of for something is an overused terrible image with text on it or a beaten to death catchphrase, you should have a sit down and question your direction in life. "Who am I?" "Do I even have my own personality?" and "When did I replace my wit and social interaction skills with a series of shitty .jpg's?" are only a few examples of things you might consider pondering.
