BGM: Footsteps of Destruction – Fate/Stay Night Original Soundtrack
“-Hey, have you finished talking?” A song-like voice echoes from behind me. It definitely belongs to a young girl.
I instantly turn around, and my vision is drawn towards the top of the hill. The moon seems to have come out from behind the clouds, so I could see what was there clearly.
-There
A long shadow. Something that shouldn’t be there is there, against the background of the city.
Tohsaka mumbles something that I couldn’t hear. Actually it was more like it didn’t register. I can tell even without her telling me that this…thing is a Servant. It towers above me by several feet, with arms the size of my whole body. That thing could kill me easily, it wouldn’t even break a sweat.
…Something is nagging at me though. That thing looks familiar…why is that?
“Good evening, Onii-chan. This is the second time we’ve met like this,” the angelic voice of the young girl sings with a smile while at the tower’s base.
The innocence in that voice sends a chill down my spine.
“-Crap, he’s on an entirely different level.” Tohsaka says beside me.
“Than you realize it after all, Rin. Nothing you two have summoned can match what I’ve summoned. My Berserker is the strongest hero of ancient Greece.
…Strongest hero of Greece? It can’t be…
“W-What? He can’t be…” Tohsaka says in amazement, apparently having drawn the same conclusion I have.
“Mmm. He’s Hercules.”

…Now I know why he seemed so familiar. I’d seen him many times from the various American TV channels I occasionally (ok, regularly) surfed. I think my brain blocked the obviousness of that guy because the truth didn’t, no, couldn’t make sense.
But than again, now that I think of it, what Tohsaka explained to me earlier about Servants makes this situation make sense. If Servants are heroes from legends of the past, than if enough people hold the same vision of what that epic hero would look like, that would be what they should appear as.
…Judging by that conclusion, Saber would probably be Joan of Arc, but that’s beside the point.
The point is, I was looking at the Hercules that was also known as Kevin Sorbo.
