Choice one: I head home and into the work shop. If Gil chases me back here the barrier on the house will deal with him. Returning to my project I set up everything I’ll need, Blacksmithing weapons isn’t my real goal.

The black and white blades I’m creating aren’t made to make them either, to defeat evil one must understand how evil works, mankind’s greatest evil apart from murder is the sanctification of the action of murder in the name of a righteous cause, under a banner. In other words, war.

To understand war I need to understand the ideas behind it. The first of these is the nature of combat, thus I must understand weapons and to do that I must create them with my own hands, only then will I be able to stop them from being used.

The fire is hot. It’s not that I can feel it’s heat but rather that I’m aware of the fact as a sixth sense. My heretofore unexplained connection to a supposed dragon grants me such. Three hours of striking, setting and reshaping and finally after months of work the swords in my hands finally match Kanshou and Bakuya exactly. Of course they have none of the magical powers but I didn’t forge these as replicas.

It’s about four in the afternoon. I’m a bit lost on what I should do dinner isn’t for another two and a half hours.
