Considering how much harder Shirou will be trained here, will he be getting the Emiya Magic Crest as well since it allows for time manipulation like bullet timing and such? You mentioned that Kiritsugu would push Shirou a lot harder so I was wondering if he'd do something like give him the Crest so he'd have as many possible advantages as possible from Kiritsugu?

According to my limited Nasu-Knowledge, a being's true self, or it's Soul, as you call it, is located towards the Root of the Swirl, or the Akashic Records. Normally indestructible in the material realm, it is anchored to the material realm by the body and brain.
The Soul, while normally indestructible, degrades when you attempt to transfer it between containers (the Third Magic simply materializes it... somehow a different concept). It is also degraded by vampirism.
And of course, it can be destroyed through the use of FFD's Kiritsugu.
While ORT has no normal concept of Death as we from Gaia know it, if you can remove an object's existence from the Akashic Records, I'm pretty sure you remove it's existence.
Probably rather similar to EA or Slash Emperor- showing the "Truth of the World"

Do we really have to get a discussion on this really? I've re-read multiple sources of Nasu-related info.
Removing its existence from Akasha does nothing. Ryougi Shiki's eyes stem from being connected to Akasha. Yet when she went against Archetype-Earth at the end of her Melty Blood Scenario she couldn't see any lines or dots.
