Synopsis:

In a series of events that include: being rudely awakened to an unpleasant surprise, right in the middle of the night; getting thrown into one of Yukari's gaps; and meeting a mysterious blonde girl in red... Hakurei Reimu has only lived through what is the opening scene -- the opening scene of one of Gensokyo's greatest Incidents ever to come.

This story comes in two formats, either RAW text, or the VN itself. This was made so that people who are not interested in downloading the VN can simply read the story like a book. I do however encourage you to read this project via the VN medium, as you'll fully experience all my work there (half of my work time is dedicated to the VN coding).

Whilst I wouldn't swear to it, I think I've seen the source of that picture labelled as Perseus elsewhere. So I'm guessing we'll get Proto!Rider.

The reason I ask is because I recall Termi rambling to himself while he was searching for a suitable pic of male!protag, and IIRC he ended up settling for "something similar." That said, I hope it's proto!Rider, because holy shit, Perseus.

Why, hello everyone, it would seem that this little story of mine has grabbed your intention. In fact, it has done it to such an extent that there are already quite a few questions being asked. Oh well, answering them might prove better than sleeping in my case right now. Sleeping too much gets boring too in the end.


Q: Yakumo-san, will this story eventually make me go shouting "GOD DAMN IT YUKARI" at the end?

A: Hoho... I can't really answer that can't I? It would kill all the fun. But who knows, there might be someone else other than me doing stuff behind the scenes. Oh, and plans don't always go as planned, so there's nothing guaranteed in here.



Q: So milady, who is that brown haired person in the opening art? The third one from the left, if you know what I mean.

A: Ah, such hopes you people have for that person don't you? Well, to be frank, I tasked my Shikigami to get a picture and edit it so that it may look like a certain person who hails from a place where there's the Moon Cell.
The funny thing is, Seika is right in the fact that there was "Perseus" tagged in the original image. But that isn't Perseus there in the picture, it is rather Arthur who had his hair and eyes dyed, alongside a change of clothes. Perseus is sitting next to him.


Q: Also, are all of these characters bound to appear?

A: Well, seeing that I am in the picture myself... probably I guess. We never know though, if some of the characters in this art could be simple eye-candy. But that'd defeat the point of a poster would it?



Q: Will this story encompass a serious plot? Or will it be more comedic?

A: It will focus more on the "serious story" line, but that doesn't mean that there'll be no room for comedy. One thing that I can assure though, is that a lot of people will probably die. Who knows, I might even die too (laughs).

P.S: Due to me being quite busy in RL right now, updates won't be that fast. Expect one per 1-2 weeks, 1 month if things start getting coarse for in in Uni (ASSIGNMENTS).
