I heard about this game about 2 weeks ago. I played the demo and all I can say is i was really impressed by the gameplay reminds me of dark souls.
What are your thoughts about the game?

Demo didn't really have any bugs that I could find. Framerate issues at times, yeah, but it worked pretty well.

Well said. I just look forward to the character builds you can make with the warrior class. Since most warrior classes end up being overpowered.

I was suprised, I expected it to be crap, but it was really good, and I will definetly be picking it up, though I doubt it will come close to how good the Souls games are.

IIRC, your main pawn is always for hire by other players as long as they know your Xbox/PS3 handle

and you can only make one pawn

the rest you rent from other players, which in turn rent yours

Reviews are out and are really mixed. But from gameplay footage popping up on the net, I quite like what I see. Just not for $60.

Been enjoying it quite a bit so far.

I guess my only real gripe are the pawns themselves. Not the system or anything, but just them. The game goes out of the way to make sure you know they're 'not human,' and lack the will to be independent. To me, it really seems more like an excuse to just make them will-less slaves and not bother making actual characters out of them. Really, a big part of an RPG is your party, right? Well, there's no Garrus here... just someone that makes observations (about everything) but never evolves or really bonds with you.

It just seems a bit a cop-out to me to not bother with creating actual party members. You could still make them as customizable without making them creepy husks.

Holy shit shot a cyclops to death (non cutscene version) while my pawns were running around its feet getting curbstomped. Punctured through three bars worth of hp with perpetual stunlock, feels good man!

Btw how do you damage zombies apart from using fire? My mage doesn't always buff with fire wep, leaving me with nothig to do but ensnare or stick arrows uselessly in their heads.
