Anyway, aside the upcoming release of the localized Dissidia FF NT, I just want to let you all (any FF fans here) know that the upcoming Mobile RPG, "Dissidia FF Opera Omnia" will be localized worldwide as well on January 30th in Android/iOS.

So, if you like and follow their Facebook Page and/or pre-register in their Google Play Page before the release, you'll be rewarded with the amount of free Saint Quartz Gems. And right now, we've reached 100K (128,644 and counting, which means we will get a total of 2000 Gems), and hopefully if we all reached 200K+, we'll get 5000 Gems.

8 needs more things redone fundamentally than 7 would. I say that 7 can be broken over the knee with the materia system, but 8 just needs an entire well thought out rework of progression, not just graphics, battle system, and environment.

The only thing I will give 8 definitely over 7 is inventing Triple Triad and the Ragnarok being the coolest ship.

Yeah 8 is easily the one that's easiest to break mechanically (Card Mod ftw).

They'd probably need to rebuild the entire junction system for a remake. You can't spend 4hrs drawing off monsters in a hack-and-slash.

Shame that 8 starts getting weird starting from disc 3, otherwise it's a great game overall.

If they do FFVIII remake I hope they'll retouch the weird development in disc 3.

Well that and their version of certain names and terms come off as weird to me because I’m more used to NA canon names. Thankfully you can work that out during installation.

I'm honestly expecting the games final part to be a PS6 launch title. There's probably going to be 4 parts, about two or three years between games, and about 6-8 years per console generation. Plus Square will have to throw out an entire build of game 3 or something because Nomura went too zipper crazy or something. I'd say 8 years before the whole game is actually complete.
