Alright, some interesting things to watch for. Aps won't just take DoT damage from Ifrit's fire, he'll jump in the water to put it out.
They do mention environmental bits about summons, so that is them doubling down on what they said about fights being more dynamic.

Huh. Apparently a few weeks ago the not even announced demo was discovered - easily cracked and data mined.

The scale of the data in that build of the demo was almost everything so far. So needless to say it's been a big blow to both the people working on it and the marketing machine.

PSA Announcement. FF7 Remake demo is up on PSN. Played it a bit before I am getting ready for work, and the combat system is pretty smooth.
Some thought that the high HP for the start would be an issue, but you can be chipped to death in seconds if you're not careful.
I can hardly wait to try out more combos for juggling peeps, especially when we get the full game, so I can try Tifa.

Having zero nostalgia for 7, I wasn't sure what to expect going into the demo...

The combat is like they took bits of Crisis Core, 13 and 15 then mashed 'em all together. Suprisingly it works, though the camera could really do with a bit of work and I don't like that as soon as battle ends it forces you to switch back to Cloud, let me run around as Barret dammit. T_T

Did not even realise they changed Cloud's ENG VA, sounds virtually identical. Everyone else is fine, though special mention to Jessie being thirsty as all hell for Cloud.

So yeah, it all looks pretty good so far. Not sure how to feel about the multiple release instalments though. :/

They explained it, it was either multiple parts, or a mediocre hash mash of the full game, without the more crafted details because they wanted to get it done on time.
They admitted with XV it takes them half a year to make a decently crafted regional area, plus the mess they had with working with Cyberconnect caused them to just decide on parts that were sufficiently detailed, than rushing the entire game to make it in a few years.

Also, a few weeks out and we already got some people with supposed entire game to AMA, real or fake, these kinda suck for an upcoming release. They better be on their A game for whoever get review copies, because that leak ought to have shown them some peeps just want to sink this ship no matter what.

Sorry about the double post, but if you have preordered the game digitally check your preload date, as people are getting different dates on PSN.

And for the people who did recieveyour physical copy of FF7 remake early, shhh. We will all share in due time, but don't spread spoilers.
