It's been made fairly clear in that last sentence that Sakura's not gone, only hostage. This opens the road for her regaining control (as an aside, Sakura's body currently hosts: a) Sakura, b) Medea, c) Zouken's soul and d) Angra Mainyu. Place's getting crowded) and/or fighting, or whatever. Either way, negotiations with probably happen.
I wanted Sakura to freak out for Shirou's safety. She thought it was an enemy master. Turned out it was worse so she panicked.
I didn't want to instakill Sakura, so I made Medea's magic weaker since she was too at the moment.
She's possessing Sakura, but it's going to wind up controlling Sakura's Grail functions after some time. She doesn't have access to them right off the bat yet.
And this causes Shirou to fight for them both. I'm planning on this making Sakura to basically confess her feelings to him at one point, since she's under a target here.
Plus I thought this was a cool way of having Sakura be directly affecting a war.

I got a response of 'she's still in there and still pops up occasionally'.
Between the worms and Angra Mainyu, and Sakura just being... well, kinda stubborn?

Wait, why would Shirou want to help Caster in this scenerio? I mean, she DID just pull a bodysnatch on someone whom he basically classifies as family- not to mention, couldn't he just use a command spell to deal with her (ie: "Caster GTFO of Sakura")
