It's currently building up to the reveal of the true motivations for the main antagonist(s). I'd say that Hiroyama should take all time he needs.

If you're frustrated by the slow pacing, double-y so because of the monthly schedule, I'd recommend putting it on hold for a year or two and then picking it back up again.

Oh, I can't wait either. But I'd rather wait an excruciating amount of time than to forever have a bad story.

Also, and this is a minor issue, Prisma Illya is already hard to recommend as it is, and it sure won't help for the story, the most praised aspect of it, to have a botched ending on top.

Waiting won't affect my experience that much, my main annoyance is how Hiro's incapable of maintaining a satisfying pace. His little tiny monthly chapters are a bother but I'm used to such things.

And I wouldn't recommend Prisma anyway tbh, Drei being decently enjoyable doesn't excuse two parts of 'generic magical girl stuff with Fate references' that ranges from bad to boring to mediocre. Also lolicon stuff.

prillya was supposed to be Illya doing cute things series but then Mahiro changed it into fate spin-off that doing more fate than Kinoko himself at that time.

Prillya and 2wei are great at what they do, though. I loved Prillya even before it went serious. I don't think the early magical stuff is bad, boring or mediocre. I won't comment on the loli fanservice, because I perfectly understand why that's an issue for lots of people and I don't want to open that can of worms.

I like 3rei because 3rei does what Type Moon usually does to cute lolis.
