Well, do you remember how we thought that it's Mooncell before we learned about the whole thing with Pandora? It would be cutely closed circle if there was a connection after all.
Right now I see two possibilities. Either Pandora's box IS Mooncell, or Mooncell is somehow based on Pandora's box. Now, what is more likely?

The Moon Cell copies data from divine entities, that's why the Sakura Five have bits of so many random goddesses thrown in. It using Pandora's Box as the template for something else shouldn't be a huge shock.
