Can't quite remember myself, but either way, EMIYA's identity doesn't matter in the least in this AU.
There is no Emiya Shirou. "Shirou" might not even be his name.
So...yeah, just trying to state it doesn't matter here.

Why exactly would Shirou even be a Master in this War? Just have a cameo of him at most. It's like claiming Ayako would be a Master. He's an ordinary person.

There is a chance of him being one, though. All the Grail requires for a Master are circuits and a wish, IIRC. Ayako has none, so...yeah. ^^;

People have desires, goals, dreams, wishes, what-have-you.
Ayako has no circuits, so I don't see why you seem insistent on bringing her up.
Shirou has circuits, unlike her.

Considering politics are involved this time, I don't think Shirou would get in anyway. I bet the Grail War spots were already filled out by the other families. The Grail would only choose Shirou as a last resort if there's no tie to Avalon, I think.

Because Ryuunosuke was a regular dude that just happened to have Circuits and got picked. Postnup!Shirou is a regular dude who happens to have circuits therefore he could get picked.

It got disassembled and reassembled by Magi. They could very well force new magi families in the slots. It was done for the original trio, after all.

They aren't the original founders, Zouken more than likely wouldn't be allowed or able to be near it, and the Grail has some level of sentience/awareness, IIRC.
And if it were really an all Clock Tower magi War...boring. Extremely boring. :|

This story was basically a Clocktower magi crossing over with Sekirei. I could see the Fifth War continuing that trend and just bumping Shirou off since he isn't important anymore. *shrugs*

Um...I'm just saying that a Grail War with only magi from the Clock Tower would be boring, and that all things going "according to plan", especially with Master participants, seems highly and extremely unlikely to me.

Pretty sure he rememberes his old family and former last name. IIRC he went to his old house, but of course everyone was dead.

On the subject of a possible Servant Alucard:

He could be a Lancer class Servant, preferably the version from Fate/Apocrypha.

After reading the responses on this thread, I think I've figured out how I would use Alucard if I wrote a Postnup sequel. Looking over the characters list as a whole, the Fifth War is going to get really violent.
