I was amused by the simple fact that Mirai' luvluv attack had the beam rifle sound effect.
It was an impromptu posing monologues as well. That finisher of theirs was also quite brutal, the gunpla must have been reduced to burnt plastic pieces.

Indeed, though somehow it feels like the story skipped something, what with Bellri and Aida accepting the whole brother/sister and born in Towasanga deal rather fast. I mean normally youd be more conflicted with that revelation.

Well the reason the UC future is less developed than the UC era is because theres a taboo on UC era technology, and the main conflict is some people excavating old blueprintsand doing it anyway, and some beeing against it, and the moon colony beeing the ones enforcing the rule while keeping their tech higher.
Itsa pretty obvious metaphor for our situation with nuclear weapons, mixed with a typical jrpg (it became a religious thing" approach. With overpowered stuff like the Psycho frame Gundamsand Colony lasers, they probably outlawed the stuff to avoid another age of Deterrence and possible mutual destruction,and over the years it became the kind of faux religious situation they have now.
