You should give the series a watch. All most all of them are really good. AGE is shaping up to be one of the best. Personally Im looking forward to the Origins anime, which is a remake of 0079.

But I don't like watching mecha shows, I just like playing with the robots so they kick ass. (Also I was tempted on watching Unicorn since it seems good and stuff but I didn't had much time.)

You don't like mech shows? any reason?. TBH Unicon is good but the 6 months between each episode maked me forget a lot of what is happening. If you want a good opeing into mech shows try SEED.
