Gundam Battlogue Episode 4 has dropped.
From the title, I had figured the Renato brothers might be involved. Also seeing Lockon and Setsuna again was cool, even if they didn't say anything. That trollish smile at the end was just perfect though.
Next episode will be SEED focused from the preview. So will probably also have Sei/Reiji since they're the BF characters who rep that series.

A double whammy of Gundam has arrived.
Speaking of Crossbone actually, after reading the novelisation of F91 which really expanded on the story I really want them to redo it as a proper series before they eventually cave in and make a Crossbone adaptation.

I'd watch a Crossbones anime. It was one of the few gundam manga I actually read a while back.

The final episode of Gundam Battlogue "Gunpla is the Greatest!" has aired. It was certainly a fun ride.
Thankfully we won't have to wait long for more Build Fighters as the next project starts in February. I wonder what it could be..?

I know people here not really interested with gunplas, and I stopped buying them since FGO comes out. But I guess Bandai really wanted my money back and I will gladly give it to them.

Okay, so I rewatched the "Gundam Build Divers" prologue a couple more times and I've organised my thoughts on it.
First things first, I was a little disappointed it didn't turn out to be BF3 or anything like that, but since it seems to be a Alternate Universe of sorts then I'll let it slide.
I am nervously optimistic about this anime. The fact that a lot of the team behind Try are returning has me worried, but here's hoping that they've learned from their experience. The whole thing with the interface being virtual reality seems a lot closer to Gunpla Builders then BF which is interesting, I wonder if that means it's set in that universe (but probably not). The whole Avatar thing - especially non-human ones is really weird in a Gundam show...but I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually. The whole 10 vs 10 thing in a capture the flag mission does worry me as it would mean a ridiculous level of cast, but then again this has only been the prologue and so it might not be like that in the show proper. I would comment on the cast, but it looks like the kids introduced at the end are our main cast so I'll refrain until we see more of them.
Now, onto the Mobile Suits themselves. I see a lot of love for the early 2010's series in this prologue - AGE, Thunderbolt & Reconguista all had representatives feature prominently. Though in the main show it seems that the 00 "Diver" and that blue Kapool. Hmm... they look okay I guess. I'm sure that Bandai will convince me to buy the Gunpla one way or another. T_T

I really like the concept 10 vs 10, because it is closer to main Gundam series, a battle between faction. I bet most of the team only consist of 3 important people at max. I don't know if it already confirmed that it is set on alternate universe, they can handwaved it with Plavsky Particle is gone or something- heck, it can be the main plot.
On the mech design, I love the AGE II Magnum, the dark blue and white combination makes it stand out. The 00 Diver however, feels like a mess, but 00 Suits are not my favorite so it is probably bias on my part, I like the new Seravee tho. Other revealed MS, I currently indifferent.
But overall, I really hyped.

When I originally said that "it seemed to be an AU" I had misheard "7th Gunpla Force World Tournament" as "7th Gunpla Battle World Tournament" and assumed AU since Try was the 13th Gunpla Battle World Tournament. Apologies for the confusion. I don't think there has been any official confirmation on any connection to other Build series.
AGE II Magnum is fantastic, the colours really work and most importantly they tweaked the transformation so the end result looks a lot better.

As for the 00 Diver, I think it looks okay... just that it looks barely different from the original (IMO) that I'll probably pass on picking it up.
The Grimoire Red Beret looks pretty cool and the alternate coloured heads serving as remote controlled spider drones is pretty cool. Might pick it up later.
The others just look okay, not really fussed either way.

The fact that the X1 has such a strong presence in Gundam media recently is really making me think that they might make a Crossbone anime one day.
Though that might just be my wishful thinking blinding me.

Would they work in an animated format, though? The stories always seemed like they were specifically "designed" (for the lack of a better word) for manga.
