I just recently bought the first volume of "Crossbone Gundam: Dust" which I'm super excited to get into as it's one of the few Universal Century entries that takes place post-Victory, being set in UC0169.
That said, looking at the "Mechanics" at the back of the volume, some of these mobile suit designs are really weird...

Reminds you on something, riiiight?
*G-Savior flashback*
It still amazes me that after years of ignoring its existence, Sunrise finally gave G-Saviour a nod with a short cameo in Build Fighters.
I am actually curious to read the JPN novelisation of the film. I heard it made changes to the story and I wanted to see if the managed to salvage the film's plot.

"NHK Hosts Mega Gundam Poll for Upcoming TV Special"
To cut a long story short, just under two weeks left if any of y'all want to participate. Only includes animated series sadly, so no Crossbone or anything like that.
I already voted. My pick for best series was Gundam X.

So among the various new kits announced for "Gundam: Build Divers" was the curiously named "Leo NPD" based on the Leo mook suit from Wing.

The NPD stands for "Non-Player Diver" and it got me thinking - could Divers be potentially moving away from the tournament based plot? I could totally get behind a MMO style plot that the heroes complete quests in. Thanks to the SAO-like virtual world, it really opens up new options that simply couldn't be done in the BF series.

"NHK Reveals Online Poll "All Gundam Big Voting" Interim Results"
Only three of the five categories have been revealed and voting still hasn't closed yet, but the results are largely predictable so far.

Pretty surprised the Quebley is on there, especially it beating out two of Char's suits.
Also fuck SEED.

Build Divers: You can't skip the launching cutscene!
I'm loving this already
That was a pretty solid start for Divers.
I am super curious about that IBO frame that looks like someone slapped together the Gusion with the Unicorn.
The whole avatar deal is still weird but I'm slowly getting used to it.
Best part of the episode was the cameo of best boy Patrick. <3

poor wing zero, you always appear in bad condition haha.
OO as MC's unit is okay but I like his friend uses GM.
so champion is using Gundam frame isn't he?
As much as I like 00, I do feel it's a bit overused as this is the third time a 00 mech has been either the protagonist or antagonist of a Build series.
Aye, he's using a custom variant of the AGE-2 which I coincidentally obtained the Gunpla of yesterday.

thanks.
so I heard it will take about 2 years for any MS from certain anime series to appear in other franchise.
some people guessing that IBO style MS in OP isn't from IBO.
Hmm, like most Gundam series, I wonder if this is an alternate universe to the 1st Build Gunpla of slightly farther future. Aside from the Sci-fi Gunpla battle tech, real world stuff doesn't look super advance though.
I adore the fact that the GNX's will get more screen time in its new form. Its red so its 3x times better/faster! (I'm the type to like a lot of non-Gundams, like Flags, Gafran, etc.)
From the 1st onscreen battle & OP, SD gundams are again relegated to the girl characters. And they'll of course be able to pull out random super flashy attacks out of nowhere from their plastic butts.
Man, that kid is fast on assembling & customizing stuff. I like how he talked to his gunpla happily & affectionately how he's gonna' disassemble & cannibalize them for parts.
I'm all for the whole VR thing since I always did feel like its such a waste when the players end up trashing their hard work per battle. Kinda' weird though that the VR device has joystick controls when they actually dive into the interweb anyway.
So, there's been a theory running rampant around the net that Magee and the store clerk from Episode 1 of Divers might be the same person. Mostly based on them sharing a lot of the same mannerisms such as...
Big Pic
Hmm...the fact that they haven't referenced it at all makes me think it's not supposed to be part of the same universe. Halfway into the original BF we finally got confirmation that BF wasn't part of the "Gunpla - Beginning G" universe when they showed it's Gunpla and referred to its MC as a fictional character within that show. So I imagine if Divers doesn't bring BF up by the first couple episodes then that'll probably decide it. Or they could pull a surprise twist at the end, like how Damon was Sekai's master all along... I dunno. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It wasn't just off to a solid start, it also sets up some mystery right from the get-go, as well. Questions such as "What's up with Sarah? How much of a .hack rip-off is she?" Also, the periodic glitching of the virtual world seems like a real slow-burn long-term storyline that'll surely come to play down the line.
Regardless, looking forward to a new season of Build Fighters. Hey, it can only go up from here after TRY tried (and failed)!
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
That was a good episode. Momoka is growing on me, that cosplay fail at the end had me dying. Loved the reference to Shakti. They're really emphasising the Build aspect of Gunpla which is really cool.
The fact that the Ogre GN-X is based off of the GN-X IV really makes me want to buy it.
Is Patrick Colasour going to be in every episode like a game of "Where's Waldo"?
---
But to be honest, it's that preview for Episode 3 that's got me most hyped. Kyoya is donning the Char clone and even using the Dark Hound as a disguise Gunpla which is amazing. Also Death Army which is cool I guess.

lol Setsuna meme never dies.
Dorothy's golden limo cameo was good surprise.
Watched Gundam: the Origin V, Clash at Loum. I enjoyed it a lot. "Don't Say Goodbye" was a great insert song.
Looking forward to the last one, and hopefully, a full adaptation of the Origin manga. Also wouldn't mind if they incorporate an intimate Sayla and Amuro romance like the novelization, as well. The contrast between them is very... nice.
