I told you Kyoya's special move was fucking Fate Excalibur. General arthurian references aren't Fate references, yes. But Excalibur as a massive beam sword unleashed when screaming it's name? Yeah, that's Fate

Gundam Build Divers Episode 12: And with that, the Break Decals have been stopped. That ending was the best part with them all attacking together like that.
Spoiler:
I always knew Haro was pure evil. :|
I guess we know where the budget went these past few episodes, hot damn! Kyoya and Rommel in particular were absolutely epic.
Tsukasa was kinda lame this episode, but looks like he'll be a badass who'll school Riku in old school Gunpla Battle next week.

Here comes The Minotaur Machine ... or the "Helmwige Reincar" if you want to be boring and use it's actual name.
Fun fact, the "Helmwige" is the name of the 6th out of 9 Valkyrie in the German opera Die Walküre. However its model number is "V08RE" which is due to the fact that only its sister mech the Grimgerde (8th Valkyrie and piloted by McGillis in Season 1) survived the end of the Calamity War and so the Montag Corporation used its Frame to rebuild the Helmwige - hence the Reincar which is short for "Reincarnation".
As it turns out: Bigger IS Better as that Valkyrja Buster Sword (yes that is its real name) is larger than the mech itself is. And if that wasn't enough, for MAXIMUM LEGNTH you can combine the hilts of the mace and the Buster Sword together to form a double bladed weapon that's almost twice the size of the mech. I wonder if Isurugi is compensating for something... Also it's kind of like the Gundam Epyon in that it doesn't have a single firearm or build in gun or anything, only melee weapons.
It did initially bother me that there's a bit of empty space around the neck area, but then I realised from the instructions that that's for the hidden special attack "Electro Shocker" where the head sinks into the torso, the chest plate rises up to be a faceguard and the horns rotate forward so he can safely ram the opponent and send electricity down the horns to fry the enemy. With how ridiculous the mech is, I really hope to see it in the Build series one day to realise its true potential.
Lastly, I was reading the instruction manual and it mentioned how McGillis and Isurugi were the shadow leaders of the Montag Company as opposed to when McGillis introduced himself in S1 as a humble servant of Montag (or whatever the phrasing was). So I'd actually be down for like a manga or something detailing McGillis' past as he secretly takes over Montag and meets Isurugi, all to overthrow Gjallahorn. Hell, you could even out in a stinger at the end that could be the basis for a new anime post-IBO. <3

And the English version of the original announcement trailer has dropped. Nothing substantially different but all the text is now in ENG for anyone who was curious but could not read JPN.
If this is indeed connected to "Phoenix Hunting" - the 11th Volume of Unicorn as I suspect, then we may get some more Full Frontal action.

It looks pretty nice. So McGillis and Isurugi met during Season 1 or sometime before Season 2 then. I would read a manga like the one you thought of.

Gundam Build Fighters Episode 13: It's kind of strange to how Gunpla Battle from the past are thought of so differently since GBN exists and you fight without worrying about your Gunpla being damaged in the real world. So Riku isn't even going to try to repair it, he wants to make a new Gunpla. I hope it's still based on one from Gundam 00.
Spoiler:
This fight gave me vibes from the second Tatsuya vs Reiji fight, though obviously with a different outcome. Fitting that they'd have a character who parallels the original BF series use a SEED suit. Seriously though, the NITRO System? Now that's an obscure reference. I wonder if giving a Psycommu System to a SEED suit was an intentional nod to that ancient theory about Newtypes in SEED?
Curious as to where they'll go from now, I had assumed that Riku would lose and that would drive the next arc...but no, Riku pulled a turnabout and stood up to the Victory (get it because the Angel Halo was in the background ) ... so now what?
Also, that Ayame smile is the most precious thing in the world. I hope she leaves the mask off now. <3
Fun fact, that "messanger" was a character from the Divers tie-in manga
The guide mentions they met during McGillis' early days as an inspection officer, so I'd imagine it was a decent time before Season 1, especially as he had complete trust in one another.

I just wish it is not a sequel, the ending is perfect.
Calamity War or riot I say!!
Something
Mmm...gonna have to disagree with that personally. I fear it will go the way of the Keyblade War in which it was central to everything and was hyped up so much that when we finally saw it, it was such a disappointment as all get out. It was definitely better off left to the audience's imagination.
Whilst I agree with @Spartacus that they shouldn't mess with IBO's ending as it was complete whether people liked it or not...However, I would be completely down for a new series set in the Post-Disaster timeline that's unconnected to Tekkadan. I feel there's enough in that world ypu could play with - the other nations vying for power now that Gjallahorn's unilateral dominace has been broken, the Montag organisation's situation now that its shadow leaders McGillis and Isurugi are gone, and even if child soldiers are now outlawed McGillis has already proven it's possible to install the iron blood what'chamacallit into adults now.
Call it "Iron Blooded Dawn" or something.

As usual, the Gunpla announcement lineup tends to spoil what new Gundams are coming out and this is no exception as several Divers suits that have yet to show up in the anime have been announced. I left it in a spoiler tag for anyone who doesn't want to see it.
