Just because he can't post on BL doesn't mean he can't read this thread. And since we are working with him should probably not talk shit bout him here just throwing that out there.
Also about the C++ and shit I'm currently dabbling with Civ 5 mods right now to get practice with XML before I dive head first into that mess of a file structure. Will get some practice with C++ too when time permits.
I'm not talking shit about him. My impression of him was that he didn't like the mods overreaching their authority (or governments IRL politics for that matter). It's no more insulting than saying he really likes Sakura or that I lean to the left in politics.

I have animation experience but I'm not sure as of yet how well I can adapt it into this project. I'll see what I can do once we learn more about the project.

Not that I really know what your development process looks like, but I was curious if you people have considered how the actual game mechanics are going to be designed. Because I didn't see anyone credited with any position akin to game design unless Milbunk also handles that as team leader. It might be worth considering having someone who sets design goals for the crunch side of things even if all you're doing is adding new characters, levels, and story. Having programmers is nice but it's also good for them to all be on the same page and have an idea of what they should be trying to do when they implement, just as an example, super secret new game+ boss Pharble Mantasm Shinji.
Again, no idea how you guys actually decide things should be done or if this is already wrapped up from earlier but I thought I might put that out there.
