Battle Moon Wars:

A turn-based SRPG doujin game based on Type-MOON that plays like a Super Robot Wars title. It is a crossover between several Nasuversian titles.

It's a cool enough concept with lots of potential, but as anyone who has played it can tell you, it has it's flaws. AKA, WERK fails at storytelling properlike.

Basically, this shit needs a kick-ass sequel - and here at the Lair is just the place to give birth to it. Here is the basic discussion thread, although anyone with expertise in programming/spriting/the like can use this as well until/if progress becomes large enough to warrant a new thread.

In the same vein as the latest SRW titles, BMW 2's storyline should involve parallel universes and the denziens of said 'verses. Some crazy shit be going down in the Time-Stream/beyond the Root, and the heroes post-BMW 1 get dragged into it to save all of reality. But something...is afoot.

I have a story idea which doesn't involve any OC to be involved yet bridges the various Nasuverse stories.

Basically what if Angra Mainyou indeed emerges from the Grail and manifests in full? The Counterforce didn't react because Angra Mainyou was a natural counter-reaction to the human existence. Zelretch attempted to stop the All Evils of the World but he quickly got swallowed. The concentrated mass of all sins of Humanity proceeded to destroy our race and erase it from even existence.

Of course it being Zelretch, the most broken magician: Killing him once doesn't keep him from being alive. His countless alternate selves visited every mayor dimension and called for heroes to help. Angra Mainyou did the same and using Zelretch's absorbbed powers it summoned villains from various parallel dimensions to bolster his ranks and foil Zelretch's plans.
The battle for the entire multiverse's fate is now at the hands of our rag-tag team of heroes.

At first this was just a wild mass guess, IIRC. Though we should at least talk with Werk to check this, so maybe they feel like doing it, and even using some of our ideas.

This afternoon I'll begin to put videos about how some combination attacks should be, and my own idea about the sequel (if it's a sequel we need Mike the cat as the super type character, and the sister of Takumi as the real type character.

That's a little different.
BMW 2 is a spin-off inspired by the Nasuverse. While I know doujin games aren't officially allowed by law they're still a gray zone.
Stealing both the base concept, mechanics AND the name of the game on the other hand...

We should add a Type-rush mode, where you fight against Type-Mercury, Type-Venus, Type-Moon, Type-Mars, Type-Jupiter, Type-Saturn, Type-Uranus, Type-Neptune an Type-Pluto, one by one per stage. They don't have to be ordered that way though.

Also, if you do manage to start making BMW 2, I suggest you do something about the accuracy thing.
I really hate it when I have 99% ACC, yet never I hit the enemy at all.
But when the enemy has 20-25% ACC, they ALWAYS HIT.

Well, unless you are Ado Edem.
Speaking of which he would have the most boring attacks:
-Vertical slash: Ado Edem's blade extends to at least hundreds of meters and he swings it down on the enemy.
-Horizontal slash: Edem extends his sword and then proceeds cleaving horitontally.
...how original.
Well, maybe if we cross him over with Zengar Zonbolt...

But you can add cool effects, and call them by flashy names, like:
Slash Emperor ~ Spin: Ado Edem grabs Slash Emperor, and it extends to one and a half his size. He starts spinning it slowly, as gusts of wind are lifted from the ground. He levitates of the ground as the spinning double-bladed sword starts spinning fiercely, releasing bursts of energy. *Close-up of Ado Edem's upper body* He then rushes at the energy and tears him into pieces with numerous slashes.
Slash Emperor ~ Typeslayer: Ado Edem levitates into the sky, and up where the clouds are, they are all blown away as Slash Emperor extends. Cue a camera change to the Earth's orbit, where part of Slash Emperor causes visible ripples on the outer atmosfere. Then it switches to Ado Edem holding the massive sword in his right hand like in that one concept art. He then swings it down. As the blade falls, it qucikly destroys everything in its way as it collides with the enemy/enemies, engulfing them in a flash of energy.

Seriously, Ado Edem revolutionalizes the term of Broken Sword.

Ado Edem should be a temp for the first playthorugh, and you need to jump through a bunch of hoops to get him as a permanent party-member.

Also, there will be a gameplay mode where you play as the Villains in their own independent campaign - no questions asked, this has already been decided.


Edit: Mike the Cat as a Super is also a must.
And UBW and Fate Shirou also have team attacks with their respective heroine. (Saber is still from the HF timeline, for storytelling elements)

About Ado, he would be something like the Ideon then. Too powerful, but if you use him too much, bye bye Gaia and hello either imposible battle against the Counter Force or Bad End by destroying Gaia. Even the infinite range map attack of the Ideon fits with the ideas you have said about Ado.
