it is my firm belief that regarding the ban of mike1984 I have been given insufficient reason for the affair and it's conclusion, further than this I feel that the light manner it has been treated in is appalling. It is my sincere hope that he is not regarded in the same way as actually malicious posters who have appeared on beast's lair or otherwise as a joke to be snickered at when spoken of in the future. I will not forget my friend or view him in the manner those in charge here have presented him and his actions, nor will I accept the situation as it stands where people snicker at him as if he were a joke.

An instant before Shiki's fist would have crashed into the fiery haired woman's skull, her fist crashed into his chest. On its own, it wasnt an especially dangerious attack, under normal circumstances, it was the kind of blow one might happily except in echange to deliver a punishing response like the one Shiki had launched.
However...
"Ha!"
Aoko let out a yell that sounded close to a martial arts cry and let loose withe a blast of yellow energy through her fist. The moment her strike slammed into his chest, he was sent spinning onto his back more then 20 meters away, the impact was sufficient to send his knife flinging off into the dirt somewhere in the green field that had been their arena.
"Ngh...." Shiki moaned involuntarily as pain coursed through his tired muscles. Sensei had been merciless. He had landed a few good strikes, but he was scared of targeting her lines, and the magical gunner was not an enemy he could hold back against. Hell, even if Sempai had been here he probably still would have lost, Arcuied was the only one he knew who could be relaxed against a demon like Sensei. And she hadn't held back at all. Shiki was rather annoyed by the fact that not only had she not gone easy on him, she really seemed to enjoy the beating she had just given him way to much, that confidant grin had only gotten wider with every blow.
Shiki tiredly tried to pull himself back to his feet, but with a blur of light propelled motion Sensei's foot connected with his skull. Seeing lights, he again found himself laid out on the field
"Hah! give it up kid, its still ten years to early for you to think about beating me!"
Sensei's voice rang with triumph and mockery. He had come to stop her after she had been playing around to much, even if it was someone like Aoko Aozoki, whom though Shiki would never, EVER admit to any of the women he shared his life with, was a person he had never been able to quite sort out his feelings for, she couldn't just be ignored if she was twisting his familiar into something weird, especially if it also involved the tatari.
...But, he had reached his limit, they had fought, and she had one. Worse, she had kicked his ass.
"Sensei....you...."
"Ah dont be so uptight kid."
Sensei leaned over him with her hands on her hips.
"This was just a sparring match. you killed the familiar remember? Even I can't do anything about it if you go after something. So in otherwords, I really just wanted to hit you for a while for making me waste my time!"
"...ah..." Shiki's head thudded back against the ground. Ouch. She was right. Its not like Aoko herself being in town was a great disaster, she passed in and out like the wind, if she wasnt like that, he would have gone insane long ago. so fighting her had really no benefit.
"You know kid, I think you will probably be a really good man someday, but you havent got their yet. Some girls like it when you play the softy, but if you ever hold back on me again, I'll break every bone in your body and hang you from your ankles in the tallest tree I can find!"
Sensei was still smiling, but for the first time Shiki could see what looked like a vein pulsing on her forehead.
"Err....sorry Sensei?" Wait, why was he apologizing? Kohaku was going to have to bandage him up for a month after this!
"Meh, don't worry about it, that's just the kind of person you are" She had changed moods in a flash. Shiki vaguely remembered that from his youth, Aoko was a great deal of things, but "steady" wasn't one of them.
"Keep trying hard, and we will have a rematch. We will probably see each other again you know, I like kids like you!"
With that parting remark Sensei grabbed the briefcase she had spent a few minutes earlier hitting him with and started walking off. Shiki wanted to call out to her, but his head was still swimming from exertion and concussion. Get better...beat Sensei...Insignificant thoughts like that washed through his mind as his grip on his consciousness faded.
