Pretty sure there's no limit. If there is one, I don't know of it offhand.
There is a limit as to the length each VM can be, but AFAIK, no actual limit on the number.

this seems like the most appropriate thread to ask this, is it possible to completely remove certain VM's?
As in it doesn't show "this message has been deleted by -insert name here-"?
