He actually doesn't have as much fur as Shelties usually have. We're not entirely sure why.
Indeed, he hasn't. But he looks healthy to me despite of this.
He's also a monster Sheltie in terms of size. I think last we weighed him he was at least 41 or 42 pounds.

We have two dogs: Shiner and Sophia (formerly Chloe).
Shiner was named by my brother, after the beer.
My mom named Sophia that, since she didn't like the name Chloe. (We later found out that there is a wine brand named "Sophia".)
Both dogs are named after alcohol. My brother is proud of this.

He's a Shetland Sheepdog. We like to joke that he was a compromise, since my mom grew up with a German Shepherd and my dad grew up with a Daschund.
