Anyway was talking to my dad a few days ago about this one cat we named Dummy after we watched this one show with a dummy in it. This I could remember what he mentioned later though floored me that I forgot at all. It turns out that after say a year or so of owning him he walked over to a old fashioned heater. Then chilled out with it's tail about a average pinky finger away from the flames. As you can guess his tail caught on fire. So what did he do? Did he run away? Did he move around? No he sat on his ass staring at the pretty flames on his tail.

So we all basically rushed over with a bucket of water and dumped it on him. So what does the do? He runs off drys himself off then runs back into the same spot and catches his ass on fire again before just turning around and staring again. Leading to us dumping another bucket of water on his head to put him out. This cat was the greatest cat I have ever seen in my lifetime. A cat that somehow figured out fire was good for his health.

D'awwwww~ I'm at friend's place, and they have three kitties (and one dog). Two older ones are siblings and the youngest is only about 12 weeks. She came here when she was only 4-5 weeks, she was a stray, so exact age is not known. Now she's settled into her new home, and is a healthy and playful kitten.

I took pics, but I'm not sure how I can get them to my computer from my new phone...

The problem is that I haven't yet downloaded programs to my computer, so I can't use my phone and computer together...

I just played with the kitten Esteri, she's so adorable! <3 And she has so soft fur, though she is still quite skinny. She tried to play with my braids, but I said no! ^_^

Edit: I might "accidentally" take her with me!

Sowwy, no kitten pics today. My computer didn't automatically find the right program, and I'm now too tired to look for it. Maybe some other day.

Edit: I tried to steal her with me, but they didn't let me take her. ;_;

So, I traveled to a city in the neighboring state last week (about 500km/310mi), to go to the biggest anime convention in Latin America I go every year, and I took the chance to visit (for the second time) one of the local Zoos, and also, to watch the theatrical presentation of Broadway's Lion King that is taking place there until this December.

I was so excited to go that I bought one of the most expensive tickets (I had to save money because I was totally on my own on that trip, but nevermind), because I couldn't get any cheaper, since there wasn't any until after the day I'd have to go back home (only the more expensive ones). I'm glad that I can pay half the price if I show them I'm a student (this "happiness" will end this year, though ;_; ).

I gotta say, it's WONDERFUL, and I will watch it again for sure if it comes to my city next year.

I took a few pictures of it, and also, one of the final scene of the show. It was the only picture I could take, but I had to sneak in because filming and taking photos of the show were prohibited, and there were security people watching us all the time.

@Artee: for some reason, that lioness mask makes me feel uncomfortable. Too realistic? Looks like it could open its eyes at any moment.

But her eyes are open! Though as I could see, only Nala's mask had pupils in her eyes, 'cause I could takea closer look at her, don't know if Sarabi's eyes also had pupils since I didn't see

I tried to upload them to my PhotoBucket direct from phone, but apparently I can do it only by MMS's or e-mail. *sigh*

I tried imgur's page, but their mobile site's upload-link didn't work as a link...

I've just found this:

Four people were fishing in the river, in Pantanal, Brazil, when they spotted a jaguar walking on the riverside (they were on a boat), when suddenly the jaguar started to run and jumped on... an alligator! Just wow.
