Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Has anyone done Kariya summoning Saber!Lancelot here?
Basically I'm wondering how much things would change if Kariya got a Servant who was 1. sane and 2. wouldn't instantly kill him from Mana exhaustion. Saber Lancelot has an honorable personality so I'm sure he'd sympathize with Kariya's quest to save Sakura, and unlike his Berserker counterpart he could potentially try to sway Kariya away from his more self-destructive courses of action.
Saberlot would probably clash with his master quite a bit as he tries to make Kariya see that NTR is a fools game.
I mean, actually he'd probably be dead after the first night without the ME boost that let him survive Gil.
If Artoria is somehow still around there could be some neat interactions there thought.

What if Florence Nightingale was Kariya's Servant?
she'd kill him to save him from himself

There is actually a running gag in the /fgog/ thread on 4chan about Kariya-summoning-Dantes fanfic.
The funny thing, it's actually could work well as a story.
