Eh, put it this way - is one of the things Haloverse is going to talk about in a few hundred years going to be "Goddamn that Master Chief guy was pretty good with any gun you'd give him?" Of course, it's true, but it's not really 'legendary.'
But the time he hijacked a Covenant fighter jet thing whose name eludes me and used it to dismantle an entrenched garrison might be? As far as anecdotes go that's pretty similar to the elm branch story that earned Lancelot the comparable Phantasm.
Also I'm not sure why I'm even discussing this since I kinda sorta never played anything other than the first Halo in the franchise. Will quietly leave now.
It's funny, because I'm one of the poor bastards who beat Halo War's campaign.
In my defence, the cutscenes were worth it. So so worth it.
Second game, most of third, bit of first, and a few books. The Master Chief's huge. Definitely HS material.
He'd probably have a NP that lets him ignore superior numbers. And his regenerating shields would also be hugely important. But honestly, I don't think he'd do well in a Grail War. He's more suited for war and five-second skirmishes; he'd do pretty badly at extended one-on-one duels with supreme concentrations of force like Servants.
Dead serious.
Was actually kinda fun, if they hadn't have shoehorned the Flood in I would have liked it a lot more. A fun RTS for a couple of hours or so, and SPARTANS are pretty sweet units actually, once fully upgraded. Throw one in a Vulture, and watch the carnage ensue.
Also Scarabs are hilariously powerful.
What if Kiritsugu summoned Medea, and Uryuu summoned either Arthur or Gawain, (Much to their horror at such a Master.)
Medea kills Kiritsugu in an awful fashion for having an affair. Arturia/Gawain kills Uryuu before he can kill anyone else.
What if Sakura summoned Xena the Warrior Princess(is it weird that I wrote the Warrior Princess part? Just seems like it isn't Xena without it)

Yukika Saegusa as the master of caster in the fifth holy grail war. Unlike a certain mundane member of the cast credited as being spiritually sensitive with no real basis *cough* Issei *cough*, Saegusa has demonstrated the ability to detect heroic spirits who are astralized, which could form the basis for latent magic potential and possibly being from an old magus line that died out, ala Ryuunosuke. Or an esper. As opposed to Shirou who was at least a little familiar with the mystical aspects of the world, Saegusa would be a toddler tossed in the deep end of the pool. She goes to the temple regularly, so her encountering Caster wouldn't be too big of a stretch. Caster with a gentle innocent girl could be a pretty neat dynamic methinks.
Sayaka miki as someone's berserker.
bonus points for integrating her witch form
Spoiler:
What if Kamijou Touma was Rin's Servant? How far would the resultant vortex of bad luck and plans bombing go, especially if their partnership somehow lasted longer than Touma tripping through the mansion nullifying gems and bounded fields before IB vaporizes him?
Alternatively, what if Rin summoned Astolfo?
