A/N: After a brief discussion earlier, I was convinced to revisit a previous work of mine that I truly enjoy. Now, I know I haven't done the best at keeping up with these things, but I promise that this will be getting as much attention from me as Onigokko.
That being said, I'll be doing something different this time around. While the format of this will remain a quest thread, I'll be implementing more involving features which will not only effect the protagonist, but the entire world around him. Furthermore, as the story progresses, you'll be able to build up a kingdom and recruit officers with their own stats and abilities. I'll explain more in detail at a later point.

Record of Akashian War
-A Tale of Love, Hate, and Conquest-
The year is 523 of the Imperial Calendar. In a world plagued by constant warfare and strife, a revolutionary discovery was made that would forever change the world known to man. That discovery was simply deemed “Magic”: the ability to draw upon a seemingly infinite energy to yield unexplainable phenomena.
For the first time in history, mankind had obtained an almighty power which placed the power of divine miracles into the hands of the mortal race. With this, numerous countries proceeded into an age of magical progression, industrialization, and prosperity. Entire civilizations rose and developed, over the span of a couple of days, at an alarming rate and once uninhabitable zones flourish with life. As the study of magic developed, once insurmountable obstacles such as famine and plague which once hampered the human race became mere relics of the past. Disputes for resources become insignificant and the uproar of war passes on with the coming of days. For a moment, the world experienced true peace. However, as with all things, it would eventually come to an end.
As time would go on, mankind eventually discovered that the power they once thought infinite was in fact limited by the number of people able to evoke it. Fearing that their power would be lost, regional governments set laws into place which restricted the usage and practice of the arcane arts to a select few. Naturally, the people were outraged at this development. Numerous uprisings and rebellions were born in the time that would follow and the world would once again be thrown into a period of unrest. Renegade magi band together to topple governments and new conflict is born as neighboring countries go to war for the now limited, miracle resource of magic. In their ongoing struggle to control the heavenly power the world enters the age of the Akashian War: the first war of magic.
