    Ymir really did die. Or is in such a state where she's better off being dead. I hope Historia finds this out and kills whatshisface.

    Oh and it looks like Levi and Mikasa (the Ackerman family as a whole) are descendants of some freaky experimentation. Probably something like wanting the power of a titan but without a transformation, or maybe the attempts to turn them into Titans made them immune instead. Or both. Either way, I speculate this will be found out and boom, Mikasa saves Eren (and Levi for Armin, because it only works once?) from dying later on. How boring.

    It also raises the question of who won their fight: Annie or Mikasa. If Annie, who we presume is a normal human (with regenerative abilities, but still), beat Mikasa, who we could now say has a few (?) superhuman qualities, that means Annie is more badass than she was before. I also have a feeling this too will become relevant later on.

    Regardless, Ackerman spinal fluid OP, pls nerf.

    Episode 6 was good. The filler with the flag breaking and falling down was a nice touch. Also that they included Sasha, who is absent in the manga for nearly the entire arc (and a bit of the next, I believe?) because he planned for her to be dead by that point and didn't have time to re-include her. And, of course, Christa-now-Historia's strained "Ymir!" at the end. OTP, OTP!

    For a rushed / under-budgeted job, it's overall pretty great so far.

    This season is so slow that I really don't know what they're gonna end it on. The pace has been what, 2 chapters per episode? It's not enough to get even halfway through the uprising arc. If they don't start cutting content and speed up to fit it all in I'll be really disappointed. That's the most important arc of the series!

    I'd forgotten how casual Reiner was when revealing he was the Armored Titan.It's really funny in hindsight but also quite well done.

    The song that played when they were transforming made the scene.

    then CG Bert(why) ruined it,but all of Eren's memories before him raging brought it back up again

    Most shows do 2 chapters per episode. It's been paced perfectly fine. Any faster and they'd have to rush plot beats.

    Season 2 ended with its 12th episode today. Overall, it was good.

    And, oh, lookie here, Season 3 was announced for 2018 in the after-credits.

    Get hyped—this'll be the best arc because it's the one where Historia becomes Queen after she 1.) body slams her dad 2.) calls Eren a pussy 3.) punches Levi 4.) tells everyone else she could essentially give 0 fucks about them

    and other less exciting stuff like politics and coups

    Turns out Ymir is less of an asshole than Historia, imagine that

    I don't watch this series, but my stupid coworker does and insists that the title translates as "Attack the Titans", rather than "Attack of the Titans" or even "Titan of the Vanguard" (which apparently spoils the main character's abilities).
