I have so many mixed feelings about the end.
That was some serious mood whiplash ever since they discovered stuff exists off the island.
Yeah, ever since the time skip this series has been bad. But this ending is something else. I'm not on the "everything is ruined forever" train that a lot are, but they handwaved so many plot points just to finish this off that it just no longer makes sense.

I've been discussing it a lot since that's all people can talk about now, but very little has changed. Every time I think about it I find something else I dislike.
The last 2 years of AoT have been a ride. I went from not caring, to really liking it, to not caring again, to hating it, and then to really liking it again. The final season really made me reevaluate what I had been criticizing about the final arc.
But then the ending pretty much justifies all my previous misgivings while also adding a bunch of shit on top of that lol
i think my disappointment is just last two chapters.
