Just that anytime I'm online everyone is using Long Swords, Hammers, and everything but Sword and Shield. I mean I don't mind it because I REALLY enjoy blocking (Plesioth has caused deep, DEEP mental scars to the point I need a weapon that can block)

Plesioth can be nightmarish at times.
Also, people will tend to go for what makes the game easier.
Hence, why 90% of people use Hammers, Longswords, and Slime weapons.

Sword and Shields got my interest since the fighting style reminds me of Link (left handed, jump attack, and a spin slash) I grew attached and mained them after I ended up beating the two Super Saiyan monkey things in freaking Freedom Unite.
I rage quit Freedom Unite shortly after when I had to beat a High-Rank Green Plesioth and regular one back to back. It was time consuming more than anything so they ran out the clock.
This is why being able to dive into the water and hunt the asshole down in his home field is so satisfying!

They weren't that hard for me in G rank.
I killed the first one before the second one appeared.
Didn't even get hit once.
Of course, I was using Narga armor and an Ice bow.

I was wearing Blue Rathalos armor and using I think a Kirin Sword and Shield at the time. So I'm just too thick skulled to switch to another weapon, let alone ranged.
Actually sitting down and realizing I'm using one of the shortest ranged weapons in the game against super powerful super saiyan monkies, I see how I suddenly learned how to dodge better <_<...

My only issue with it is that it didn't have a armor I'm a fan of. I always prefer the head to toe monster on two legs armor such as the Rathalos and Lagiacrus, but now I changed my mind and stuck with the Yukumo set and was VERY happy when they brought it back in 3 Ultimate. I doubt I'll be able to wear it for all too long before it gets horrible obsolete <_<.

got my psp, just in time for me to keep monster hunting after the tri servers closed down. Me gusta portable 3rd. Lack of 2nd analog bugs me but isn't detrimental. Also, the music in portable third is much better.
