Good job, Tarou! Keep on fighting the good fight against those goddamn birds.
Because seriously, fuck birds.
So this was more or less the False Assassin origin story you were going on about earlier, Vel?
Hm. I approve. I'm a sucker for worldbuilding of the Type-MOON variety, so this gains my approval. That's one reason for a man to develop a technique with the express purpose of killing things in midair.
Just be glad writing it is over - now you can work on other things! It's a good feeling.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
It took me a few moments to figure out what was going on in that last section and thus why he'd actually gone mad.
How could you sully poor Kojirou with Roa taint, Velsper?
Not that, the placing in this one was just awkward IMO. Well, maybe because I've too used in reading kaeshi/kaesu normally.
Oh, and speaking of Tsukihime, I do sometimes feel that Nanaya's "Kyokushi" is weird. It seems right, it means right, by all means it should be right, but it still feels wrong to me. Don't really know why myself.

~I hate writing English paragraphs longer that one line. Or any language, really.~
In the middle of re-re-redoubling the effort of erasing the habit of lurking for the 9001st time
Will you now slay me for the pun?
Thanks IRUn. In the end I do like this. It's fun sharing the idea after working on it so long.
Actually, this is just part of my head canon for all this, but doesn't it strike you weird that a wraith from samurai era made it to the present? Heroic Spirits survive the ages by being stuck in the Throne, which is outside time/space, but Kojiro's wraith had to go the long route. The entry for the ghoast Apostle made it seem like you only get to survive long periods after you die if you got history behind you.
The way I figured it worked in this world was that once Kojirou died at Arc's hands, his wraith stole some of Roa's history and lingered until present day F/SN.
By all means, let me know if it doesn't quite work out that way, though. Wouldn't mind a discussion.
Nasu really loves his puns on the second point.
On mine, the placing probably was awkward, though. Need to double check with another moon rune person.
Spoiler:
A wraith is just the soul of someone with unfinished business (in Kojiro's case, it was probably seeking a duel that would satisfy him), though they degrade with time if they don't supply themselves with energy via consuming souls.
Roa and Kojiro being the same person is thus impossible since Roa's entire gimmick is setup to AVOID the Wraith's fate of soul degradation by never spending long outside of a living body, he'd never be in a position to become a wraith.
Note that none of this means I didn't like the writeup, it was pretty cool.
So even the wraiths can eat souls? I thought that was just what made Servants super special since they could do that. But note something about the story. I didn't at any point let him drink blood. His soul was corrupted enough that he wasn't allowed into the Throne of Heroes for doing the impossible (well, that and no one really knew his story) but he hadn't totally vamped out either.
I kind of gave him a bit of a by.
Spoiler:
sasaki
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Guy was still hardcore, even with the Roa taint.
