Though abandoned, forgotten, and scorned as out-of-date dolls, they continue to carry out their mission, unchanged from the time they were designed.
Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Well that's pretty much my point.
Though it's still my hope that much further down the line, we'll have our Nextwave movie.

I picked up the complete Nextwave on a lark a few weeks back but haven't actually sat down to read it yet. That video tempts me to do so, but the call of Metal Gear V is also strong.

Hesitant about Civil War in spite of that slick trailer with how awful AoU was. Marvel really shit the bed with that one. Ant Man was alright. I'm hoping Marvel continues to make good movies instead of going the Transformers route by throwing money at the screen and knowing people will go for their childhood heroes regardless of the quality of the film.
Still can't make it through an episode of Agents of SHIELD.
Jessica Jones was even darker than I expected (I never read the comic), but it was pretty good. I still think Daredevil is the best of the Netflix Marvels -- all two of them. I'm sure Luke Cage will be decent, but it's Iron Fist and DD S2 that really have my attention. Marvel TV has been kicking the Marvel movies in the head lately.
Well, if I conveniently forget about Agents of SHIELD, that is. Lame show with no consequences, which is nice. I would hate to feel obligated to watch that snorefest.
I dropped Daredevil when they revealed Kingpin as a crybaby and am not really interested in other street level stuff. Civil War is Avengers 2.5 so that'll be bad probably.
Looks like I'm set on Marvel stuff until Dr. Strange.
So Foggy and Matt's relationship had no thought? I feel like the only weak character of that show was Karen and maybe Night Nurse.

Kingpin's aid is more like proper Kingpin in personality.
Rest of the shoe varied in quality aside from Foggy, who uniformly sucked.
I watch Agents of shield while farming.

That's fair. Kingpin is incredibly divisive. Not everyone's cup of tea.
I'm cautious about Strange because it's just so off the beaten path for the Marvel machine, and the last atypical one was Ant Man.

They were bros until Foggy got mad at him, and then they were bros again when it was all over without much done to get them from Point A to Point B.

I mean it isn't JUST that. I didn't care much about the supporting cast either, with Foggy in particular being more of N irritant than anything.
Civil War is by the director of Winter Soldier so I have high hopes for it.
