The movie was like a slightly better kingdom hearts three. It was pretty good but it almost felt like a let down because it was trying to act as the triumphant conclusion to a long running story and honestly wasn’t as good as its predecessors
Saw the movie last night
Spoiler:
Not as mindblowing as Guardians, Thor or Winter Soldier, more fun than Infinity War, but also more stiff in some bits. 8/10.

Spoiler:
Infinity War was better. Except for the parts this movie did that really emotionally resonated. Some of those really felt earned after the ten-years this franchise has been about.
Still more hyped for Far From Home than this, even though I was pretty on-board for this film to happen anyway.
Pretty good. 8/10. Probably won't sit through it again unless I do it with a group of friends, though. 3 hours, wew lad.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.

I'll agree that it worked, but I still wanted more.
Actually, a plot kind of like Fallout: New Vegas' Sierra Madre DLC would have been neat. We had bits and pieces of that with how all the surviving members were coping with the events of Infinity War, and pulling off something like New Vegas spoiler could have been neat to see.
So.
much.
stuff.
Overall though, I liked it a lot. Sure it was messy, IW was a way tighter movie for example.
But I don't much care about that.
This movie was a love letter to the MCU and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm on the side that liked the film. IMHO, more stuff to rejoice in than drawbacks.
And missing out on the grandest way to go out.

Well, just watched the movie. Some of the homages to previous MCU entries felt genuinely touching, and the climax was enjoyable enough, but overall, I felt it was overblown, badly-structured, uncreative and predictable. I think the only reason I'm not disappointed is that I went in without expecting much.

This and Infinity War really had no business being two separate movies.
I miss the days were people could release a four-and-a-half or five-hour epic right in theatres. The ones that were so long that they took cues from live theatre and had an interlude at the midway mark.
