Also I never read a Sinister Six storyline but doesn't Peter have a secret sister that's part of them or something? In any case, please don't bring in Osborne or Venom or whatever, we've done that dance too many times. At least wait for the third one (he's signed for what, 5 movies, 3 spiderman ones?).
New MJ is cool, instead of a lump, which is what we got with Dunst. Likewise, I like Peter's friend and new guy is better at being Spiderman than Maguire and better at being Peter than Maguire OR Garfield.
I don't like him as much as Weaving's Red Skull or Russell's Ego but Keaton is EASILY number 3 as far as villains go, he's certainly a fuck of a lot better than the Vulture has ever been. And he's a nice break from all the world ending nonsense we get in the rest of these movies, or hell, the city destroyers and melodrama generators that infested pre-MCU Spiderman films. It's so good to get a guy who is just stealing things.

I liked it, just not as much as Cap 1 or the Guardians films. There might have been others I liked more but there's been so fucking many of these I couldn't really say. It's proooobably the best Spiderman outing, though I haven't rewatched 2 in ages so I couldn't be 100% certain... nor, in absolute fairness, did I ever watch Amazing 2 but that strikes me as not needed for obvious reasons.

Apparently Sony is planning on a standalone Venom film in the next year or two which they plan to actually make as opposed to just finance like this one. Hopefully that might mean little in the way of Venom being in any actual Spiderman movies.

Finally watched Iron Fist.
The fights are weird, but the show is actually very impressive. I'm not sure if I can handle Claire appearing in any other Netflix series not related to Defenders, though.
Defenders was kinda cool. It actually makes me want to do like Palladium Heroes Unlimited RPGing more than Avengers does.
